This totemic hand-built stoneware sculpture has an almost sub-aquatic depth of colour to its green glaze. Part of Julia’s collection of ceramic sculptures which take on a variety of forms, in this piece she endeavours to instil a sense of flow, energy and movement into the clay.

Julia’s starting point is often found in the natural world, a relationship which comes full circle when her pieces are placed in an outdoor setting. Their vivid glazes bring plant colours into greater focus and their abstract forms echo the organic shapes around them.

This piece is especially suited to sitting in amongst planting or surrounded by profusions of flowers.

Each edition of Medium Speckly Green is carefully handmade in Julia’s studio and will have its own unique variations. This piece is available in other colours and sizes. Please enquire for bespoke options.
